Greetings From The President

To all officers and staff, Board of Directors, Moderators, Pastors, Preachers, Delegates, friends and supporters of the Northeast Mississippi Baptist State Convention, Inc., I greet each of you in the matchless and magnificent name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

​

It is my extreme privilege to welcome you to our 98th Annual Session of the Northeast Mississippi Baptist State Convention, Inc. Our staff and officers have worked tirelessly to make this session a rewarding spiritual experience. It is our aim and aspiration that you leave this session renewed, revived, and refreshed, and better prepared to continue to do the work of ministry.

​

My sincere thanks to Rev. Jimmy Stewart and the Pontotoc District Association, Rev. Jonathan Tucker and the New Birth Community Church, and Rev. Jay Tucker and the Zion Chapel MB Church, for serving as our hosts.

​

We are also blessed to have our guest, Rev., Dr. Ed Rodgers, with us again this session, serving as lecturer for the Minister’s Division. His unwavering support and commitment to our Convention work, has been a tremendous blessing and benefit to every person that has had the opportunity to hear him preach and teach.

​

My enormous thanks to our Convention Staff and Officers, and all Auxiliaries for their continued support and hard work.

​

My prayer is that God will be in our midst, as we invite His presence, to shower us with blessings from on High, and that we will leave this session better than we did when we came.

The NEMBSC Woman's Auxiliary promotes spiritual growth through "L.E.A.P." -- love, education, accountability, and protection (1 Cor 13:4-7). The Woman's Auxiliary equips women for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12a) by providing tools that they can share with each other and others in their respective congregations and communities and among colleagues.
